Why Fortalis Was Founded
Fortalis was created from a simple observation.
Over time, safety and risk management have drifted away from operations. What started as a discipline grounded in real operational risk has, in many organizations, become compliance-driven, overly complex, and disconnected from how work is actually performed.
This shift has consequences. Effort increases, documentation grows, but the impact on real risk is not always there. Teams spend more time managing systems than improving operations.
Fortalis was founded to address that gap.
